Cedric Coward is the sleeper with free throws to spare

A Memphis guard projected for more minutes, more threes and an 85% stroke at the line, still sitting outside most top 100s.

A sleeper is not a player nobody has heard of. It is a player whose price has not caught up with his role, and in 2026-27 Cedric Coward is a good example. He averaged 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 threes in 25.8 minutes for Memphis last season, and he is still sitting outside most top 100 lists.

Ranks from our projections board and the analysts' consensus, updated nightly.

Our projection has him at 28.9 minutes, 16.8 points, 1.8 threes and 85% from the free throw line on 3.5 attempts a night. That last number is the one categories drafters should care about most.
