- InjuriesFranz Wagner's shoulder and the rest of the weekend's injury newsWagner was still being evaluated for a right shoulder injury on Sunday, Noah Penda partially tore a hamstring, and Tobias Harris and Isaiah Stewart go into opening night unsure.
- SleepersYaxel Lendeborg, Aday Mara and the preseason standouts worth believingA handful of preseason games put Yaxel Lendeborg, Aday Mara, Kyshawn George and Tristan da Silva on fantasy radars, and our projections say which of those lines can survive real minutes.
- StrategyESPN's fifty percent rule, and the shooters it rewards and punishesUnder ESPN's default points scoring a made shot nets one point and a miss costs one, so a 50% shooter breaks even, which lifts Jalen Duren and Ivica Zubac and costs Devin Booker and Paolo Banchero several places.
- Strategy · ProThe players whose value changes most between ESPN, Yahoo and Fantrax scoringTyrese Haliburton is 17th on our points board under ESPN's default scoring and 37th under Yahoo's and Fantrax's, while Paolo Banchero goes the other way, from 32nd to 14th.
About the Magic depth chart
Orlando Magic depth chart for 2026-27 fantasy basketball
This is the Orlando Magic (ORL) depth chart for the 26-27 NBA season, position by position: who starts, who backs up, who is out and each player’s fantasy rank, read from Sleeper’s chart every night.
The Magic’ first choices are Anthony Black at point guard, Desmond Bane at shooting guard, Franz Wagner at small forward and Wendell Carter Jr. at center.
Their best fantasy asset on our points projections is Paolo Banchero, ranked 28th, and Franz Wagner is 43rd.
Paolo Banchero, Izaiyah Nelson, Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Isaac and Noah Penda are listed as unable to play.
The backup most worth a roster spot is Paolo Banchero, listed behind the first choice at power forward and ranked 28th.
To use this chart in a fantasy league, the NBA fantasy schedule counts how many games the Magic play each week, the NBA fantasy trade analyzer prices a deal for any of them, and the fantasy basketball rankings set them against every other player in the league.
